José Castro
Founder and Chef
Born in Venezuela, José began cooking at sixteen, a path that led him to Madrid to study at Le Cordon Bleu, and later to Santiago, Chile, where he deepened his understanding of technique and tradition. Along the way, he learned that while cultures may differ, food often tells the same story, connection, memory, and place, just in different languages.
Now based in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, Pangea is his way of bringing those stories together at one table, where the only language is food.
Alexandria Plowick
Guest Experience Coordinator
Born in Missouri, The second hand of the business. She’s deeply involved in making sure everything is done right, with a strong attention to detail. From décor to overall setup, she helps ensure every experience looks polished, cohesive, and thoughtfully put together.
Justin Fleener
Lead Server
Born in Indiana and plays a key role in service execution, especially during larger events. With great attention to service and flow, he helps ensure everything runs smoothly, making him an essential part of the team for big parties and high-energy gatherings.
